Advertising ID Policy

Effective Date: April 21, 2026  ·  Leandro Ramos Ching

This policy explains how VOOL uses the Advertising ID on your device, what restrictions apply, and how you can opt out or reset it at any time.

1. What Is the Advertising ID?

The Advertising ID (GAID on Android, IDFA on iOS) is a unique, user-resettable identifier assigned by your device's operating system. It is designed to allow advertisers to show relevant ads and measure campaign performance without directly exposing your personal identity. Unlike hardware identifiers, you can reset or delete the Advertising ID through your device settings at any time.

2. How VOOL Uses the Advertising ID

VOOL, operated by Leandro Ramos Ching, uses the Advertising ID for the following permitted purposes:

3. What We Do NOT Do With Your Advertising ID

4. How to Opt Out or Reset Your Advertising ID

01
Android — Opt Out

Settings → Google → Ads → tap "Delete advertising ID" to permanently remove it, or toggle "Opt out of Ads Personalisation" to stop personalised ads without deleting.

02
iOS — Opt Out

Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track." You can also disable Apple's own personalised ads at Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.

03
Reset Your ID

Resetting your Advertising ID clears all past associations without fully disabling it. Found in the same location as the opt-out settings above on both platforms.

5. Third-Party Advertising Partners

We may share the Advertising ID with authorised third-party advertising technology partners for the purposes described above. All partners are required to comply with applicable advertising laws and platform policies, including Google Play's Advertising ID requirements.
