This section provides full transparency on what data VOOL collects, how it's used, who it is shared with, and how it is secured — as required for the Google Play Data Safety section.

2. Security Practices
All data is transmitted using TLS 1.2+ encryption between the app and our servers.
Sensitive data including passwords and payment tokens are encrypted when stored.
All card data is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. We never store raw card numbers.
Only authorised personnel can access user data, with role-based access restrictions enforced.
We conduct regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments of our platform.
We use automated fraud detection tools to identify and prevent unauthorised activity.
3. User Data Controls
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data by emailing info@voolapp.com
- Correction: Update inaccurate information via your profile settings
- Deletion: Request full account and data deletion at delete@voolapp.com
- Advertising opt-out: Disable personalised ads via your device settings
- Notification control: Manage push notifications in your device or app settings
- Location control: Revoke location access at any time in your device settings
4. Data Retention
Personal data is retained for as long as your account is active. On deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Financial transaction records are retained for up to 7 years as required by US financial regulations. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.
5. Third-Party Data Sharing
We share data only with trusted service providers under contractual data protection obligations. We do not sell personal data. Partners include Stripe (payments), cloud hosting providers, analytics platforms, and advertising networks.
